An Update About Our Veterinary Team
After 31 years of providing exceptional veterinary care, Dr. Philip Caron has made the decision to retire from Rockland Animal Hospital. As the founder and chief of staff, his expertise, dedication, and passion have made a lasting impact on our practice.
We are grateful for the care Dr. Caron has provided to our patients and their families over the years. We know many of you have formed lasting relationships with him throughout his time here.
Please join us in thanking Dr. Caron for everything he has contributed to our hospital and wishing him the best in his next chapter.
We’ve included his personal note below:
"Recently I retired from Rockland Animal Hospital, which was a difficult choice, after 31 plus years. I have enjoyed my career and want to thank my clients for all of the memories and allowing me to care for their pets and be a part of their lives. I also want to thank all of my present and past staff members whose hard work has made it all possible. I will take with me many fond memories of emergency calls, challenging cases and surgeries as well as the routine wellness visits and the years of doing clinics on Vinalhaven and North Haven. Please give your pet a pat on the head or a scratch under the chin for me after you read this.”
Sincerely,
Dr. Caron
While we know many of you will miss Dr. Caron, we want to reassure you that we’re committed to providing your pets with the same high-quality, compassionate, personalized care you've come to expect from our team. Thank you for your trust and for allowing us to care for your beloved pets. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your family for many years to come.
Thank you,
The Rockland Animal Hospital Team
