About the Role
Located in beautiful Mid-Coast Maine, Rockland Animal Hospital is an established, community-focused practice with a long history of caring for the pets and families of the area. Founded in 1950, our hospital has grown and evolved while maintaining the personal, welcoming feel of a hometown veterinary practice.
We believe that a great practice starts with a great team. Today, our facility includes:
- Four exam rooms and a spacious treatment area
- Dedicated surgical suite and recovery areas
- X-ray and laser therapy
- Spacious boarding kennels, laundry area, and outdoor run
- Approximately 90% small animal / 10% exotic caseload
- Future plans for dental X-ray and ultrasound
We’re proud to be part of the local animal-care community and have worked with organizations including Pope Memorial Humane Society in Thomaston and PAWS Animal Shelter in Camden.
Located in Rockland, Maine—the “Art Capital of Maine”—we’re surrounded by beautiful coastline, hiking, boating, kayaking, swimming, camping, charming seaside towns, outstanding restaurants, museums, galleries, and a vibrant arts scene.
